Birds' Eye View

Seemed like I was seeing this little guy, sitting on a wire surveying the world every time I drove down one stretch of road in December. While reloading the car (aka our closet on wheels) I found this cradled birch panel that I had prepped with a watercolor ground (it gives a cool texture and allows for more workable time with watercolors). I just knew this panel was lying in wait for that kingfisher to come along. It's been sealed with an archival spray varnish, ready to hang and enjoy!   It's available through Stone Soup Gallery on White St in Key West  (305)296-2080!
